So you want to be endorsed by HfHR Action:

Progressive Hindu Americans want to know which candidates stand for their beliefs and will show up for them. That’s why we’ve launched an endorsement process for the 2026 midterm elections.

Get Endorsed

Our process includes a questionnaire and, if needed, follow-up conversations with the endorsement committee as we determine which candidates align with our values.

To be considered for an endorsement, please fill out our endorsement form and we’ll be in touch. We must also provide anyone else in the race the same opportunity to engage in the endorsement process. Once we’ve done our due diligence, we’ll contact potential endorsees.

What WE’re Looking For

A commitment to uphold human rights in the US’s engagements with South Asia

A pledge to reject Hindu nationalism, including any money tied to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. For more information, you can find a map of RSS-linked organizations.

A dedication to combat caste and religious nationalism in all its forms

A vision for pro-immigrant policies

The dedication to fight hate against Hindu Americans and advocate for pluralism

A consistently progressive policy agenda

What an endorsement means

Our endorsements are a signifier that we believe you are dedicated to fighting for the values that mobilize the communities represented by Hindus for Human Rights Action. We may endorse more than one candidate in a race - it just means that all of the endorsed candidates are credible advocates for our communities.
